Crafting and Using Silver Gear

Getting Silver

Mine Raw Silver and smelt it into Silver Ingots. You can also store ingots as a Silver Block or break them down into Silver Nuggets for smaller recipes. A Block of Raw Silver holds unprocessed ore if you want to stockpile before smelting.

Silver Tools and Armor

Silver Ingots craft into a full tool set: Silver Sword, Silver Pickaxe, Silver Axe, Silver Shovel, and Silver Hoe. The same ingots craft Silver Helmet, Silver Chestplate, Silver Leggings, and Silver Boots.

Silver gear is your primary weapon against werewolves. Carry a Silver Sword as your main hand weapon and wear the full Silver armor set when hunting. Silver Bolts are ammunition for crossbows — craft a stack before heading out.

Smithing Template Upgrades

Some silver equipment can be upgraded using a Smithing Template at a smithing table. Place the template, your base silver piece, and the required material in the smithing table to apply the transformation. Check each recipe individually, since not every silver item uses a template.

Keep spare ingots in your inventory. Silver gear wears down, and repairing or replacing it mid-hunt is easier when you have raw materials on hand.
