Building and Using the Stone Altar

Crafting the Altar

Place a Stone Altar as the centerpiece of your werewolf setup. Add a Stone Altar Fire Bowl on top to light it. The altar is where you perform the mod's ritual crafting and upgrades. Surround it with the materials you plan to use so you are not running back and forth during a ritual.

Ritual Materials

Stock the altar area with Silver Ingots, Silver Nuggets, Raw Silver, and a Block of Raw Silver. Silver comes from Silver Ore and Deepslate Silver Ore — mine both, then smelt or blast the raw drops into Silver Ingot. Keep a Smithing Template on hand for smithing_transform recipes, which upgrade gear at a smithing table rather than the altar.

Upgrades at the Altar

Use the altar to apply the Moon Charm Upgrade, Enhanced Moon Charm Upgrade, and Special Moon Charm Upgrade to a Moon Charm. Combine a Bone Necklace, Charm Bracelet, Dream Catcher, Cracked Bone, Werewolf Tooth, and Wolfsbane as ritual components. Village Totem Top and Fragile Village Totem Top are also used here. If a recipe calls for the alchemical cauldron, place the cauldron nearby and add the listed ingredients — the altar and cauldron work as a pair for advanced transformations. Light the Fire Bowl before starting any ritual, or the altar will not activate.
