Finding and Catching Hoppip in Plains Biomes

Where to Look

Hoppip spawns exclusively in grassy plains biomes during daytime hours. Search open, flat grassland areas where you'd normally find sheep and cows. The creatures float above the ground, so scan the air as well as ground level.

Catching Tips

Bring Poké Balls or better—Hoppip is a grass/flying-type, so it may be faster than ground-based creatures. Approach during the day; they won't spawn at night. Since Hoppip floats, you won't need to dig or climb to reach it. Use a Pokémon with a type advantage (fire, ice, or flying moves work well) to weaken it before catching.

Once caught, Hoppip can evolve into its next form through leveling. The full family line is available in this resource pack, so you can build a complete team as you progress.
