The Wandering Trapper Spawn Egg is one of the mod's registered items. Keep it in your hotbar or main inventory until you are ready to use it. Like other spawn eggs, it is a single-use item that places a mob when used.

Spawning the Wandering Trapper

Hold the Wandering Trapper Spawn Egg and right-click a solid block to spawn the Wandering Trapper. Choose your spot carefully: spawn it on flat, well-lit ground so it does not wander into danger or fall into a cave. If you want to keep the trapper in one place, build a small pen or walled area before using the egg.

What to Do Next

Once spawned, the Wandering Trapper is a mob you can interact with in your world. Keep pelts such as Beaver Pelt, Fox Pelt, Marten Pelt, Mink Pelt, Snow Fox Pelt, and Polar Bear Pelt stored nearby, since pelts are the mod's core resource and feed into its crafting_shapeless recipe. Set up a crafting table next to your trapper pen so you can process pelts into blocks like the Polar Bear Rug or Pelt Log without walking back to base. If you need more than one trapper, use additional spawn eggs the same way.
