How to Collect Every Pelt Type

The Pelt Items

The mod adds several pelt items you can gather: Beaver Pelt, Fox Pelt, Marten Pelt, Mink Pelt, Snow Fox Pelt, and Polar Bear Pelt. Each is a distinct item, so they do not stack together in your inventory. Carry a chest or shulker box if you plan to collect many at once.

Where to Hunt

Match the animal to the biome. Foxes and snow foxes appear in colder regions, so search snowy forests and taiga for Fox Pelt and Snow Fox Pelt. Polar bears roam icy biomes and drop Polar Bear Pelt. Beavers, martens, and minks are tied to their own habitats — explore rivers, forests, and wooded areas to find them and collect Beaver Pelt, Marten Pelt, and Mink Pelt.

Storing and Using Pelts

Sort your pelts into labeled chests as soon as you return from a hunt. Because the mod uses a crafting_shapeless recipe, you can combine pelts at a crafting table without worrying about grid position — only the items and counts matter. Test your pelts in the crafting grid to discover what they make, and keep spare Polar Bear Pelt on hand if you want to craft a Polar Bear Rug.
