Fix Washed Out or Oversaturated Colors
Adjust Color Saturation
Vivid Radiant Rays emphasizes bright, colorful visuals. If colors look too intense or too faded, locate the saturation slider in shader settings. Increase it for more vibrant colors, or decrease it if the world feels oversaturated.
Balance Exposure and Contrast
Brightness settings affect how colors appear:
- High exposure can wash out colors—reduce it slightly
- Low contrast makes colors appear dull—increase it for definition
- Adjust gamma to brighten or darken the overall image without losing color depth
Check Sky and Biome-Specific Settings
Some shaders include separate controls for:
- Sky color intensity—affects how vivid the sky appears
- Biome color influence—controls how much the shader respects biome-specific colors
- Grass and foliage tint—adjusts green saturation in vegetation
Test Across Environments
Color perception changes in different biomes and lighting conditions. Visit varied locations—deserts, forests, oceans, and underground—to ensure your adjustments look natural everywhere. Aim for colors that feel vibrant without appearing artificial or washed out.
