Spot Enemies Hidden in Dark Caves or Ravines

Use the Shader's Shadow Reduction

Vivid Radiant Combat's core strength is lifting dark shadows. When exploring caves or ravines, the shader automatically brightens dim areas, making mobs and players visible even in complete darkness.

No additional steps are needed—the shader works passively. However, if enemies still blend into shadows, check your shader settings for a "shadow intensity" or "darkness reduction" slider and increase it slightly.

Combine with Tactical Positioning

Even with shadow lifting, position yourself to maximize visibility. Stand where light sources (torches, lava, glowstone) naturally illuminate your surroundings. The shader amplifies existing light, so more light sources mean better clarity.

When fighting in deep caves, place torches or use a light-emitting block before engaging. The shader will sharpen details around these light sources, making enemy outlines crisp and easy to track.

Watch for Cinematic Color Shifts

The vivid color tones can sometimes make distant enemies harder to distinguish. If you're struggling to spot foes at range, temporarily reduce saturation in your shader settings to bring contrast back into focus.
