Reduce Eye Strain During Long PvP Sessions
Adjust Brightness and Contrast Settings
Vivid Radiant Combat Shaders can be intense during extended play. Open your shader settings menu (usually accessible via the pause menu or a keybind) and locate the brightness and contrast sliders.
Lower the brightness slightly if the cinematic tones feel overwhelming. This preserves the shader's enemy-spotting advantage while reducing fatigue. Start by reducing brightness by 10–15% and test during actual combat.
Enable or Disable Shadow Lifting
The shader's shadow-lifting feature is powerful but can create visual harshness. Many players find toggling this on only during critical fights helps. Check your shader options for a shadow or darkness control slider.
If your shader pack includes a "combat mode" toggle, enable it only when actively fighting. Between battles, disable it to let your eyes rest with normal lighting.
Optimize Render Distance
Shaders demand more from your GPU. If visuals feel strained, lower your render distance slightly. This keeps the shader's clarity benefits for nearby enemies while reducing overall processing load, making gameplay smoother and less taxing on your eyes.
