Configure Foliage Waving and Animation Speed
Open Foliage Animation Options
Access your shader settings and navigate to the Foliage, Vegetation, or Animation section. This controls how leaves, tall grass, and plants move.
Adjust Wave Intensity and Speed
Find the wave strength or animation intensity slider. Higher values make leaves sway more dramatically; lower values create gentle, subtle movement. Increase wave speed to make foliage flutter quickly, or decrease it for slow, calm swaying.
Some shaders offer separate controls for different plant types—adjust leaves independently from grass if available.
Balance Performance and Visuals
Foliage animation is relatively lightweight, but excessive wave intensity on large forests can impact frame rates on lower-end hardware. Start with moderate settings and increase gradually while monitoring performance.
Test your settings in dense forests, jungles, and open grasslands. Foliage should feel alive without appearing chaotic or distracting. If animation causes motion sickness during extended play, reduce wave speed and intensity until comfortable.
Save your preferred configuration and enjoy your animated world.
