Adjust Cinematic Ray Intensity and Direction

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated shader settings key (usually accessed through your graphics settings or shader menu). Look for the Cinematic Rays or Sun Rays section.

Fine-Tune Ray Appearance

Locate sliders controlling ray intensity, spread, and visibility distance. Increase intensity to make sunlight beams more dramatic and visible through dense forests. Decrease it if rays feel overwhelming or wash out your view.

Adjust the ray density slider to control how many light beams appear simultaneously. Higher values create thicker, more visible rays; lower values make them subtle and scattered.

Optimize for Your Location

Rays appear most noticeably in open areas and when looking toward the sun. Test changes in different environments—dense forests, open plains, and caves—to ensure rays enhance rather than obscure your gameplay. If rays cause eye strain during extended play, reduce intensity gradually until comfortable.

Save your configuration once satisfied. Changes apply immediately without restarting the game.
