Switch Between Performance Presets

Locate Preset Options

Open the shader settings menu (Shift + O) and find the performance profile selector. Vivid Amber Bloom includes built-in presets optimized for different hardware tiers.

Choose Your Preset

  • Potato/Low: Minimal shader effects; prioritizes frame rate for older or weak systems
  • Medium: Balanced bloom, wind effects, and color enhancement; suitable for mid-range hardware
  • High/Ultra: Full visual features including intense bloom, detailed lighting, and smooth animations; requires a capable GPU

Apply and Monitor Performance

Select your preset and the shader reloads automatically. Check your FPS counter (F3 key) to confirm the change improves or maintains your target frame rate.

Fine-Tune After Switching

Each preset is a starting point. After selecting one, you can still adjust individual sliders (bloom, saturation, wind intensity) to balance visuals and performance for your specific setup. Test in different environments—caves, forests, and open sky—to ensure smooth gameplay.
