Adjust Shader Bloom Intensity for Your Preference
Access Shader Settings
Press Shift + O (or your configured shader menu key) while in-game to open the shader options panel. This menu lets you fine-tune visual effects without restarting.
Modify Bloom Parameters
Look for bloom-related sliders, typically labeled as "Bloom Strength," "Bloom Radius," or "Glow Intensity." These control how much light spreads from bright sources like torches, lava, and glowstone.
- Increase bloom for a dreamier, more atmospheric look with softer light halos
- Decrease bloom if you find glowing effects distracting or if you want sharper visuals
Apply and Test
Changes apply instantly. Walk near torches, lava pools, and lit areas to see the effect in real time. If the bloom feels too strong or weak, adjust incrementally and observe how it affects readability and ambiance.
Save Your Configuration
Once satisfied, your settings persist. If you switch between performance presets (potato, medium, high), you may need to reapply custom bloom values, as presets often reset to their defaults.
