Customize Shield Cooldown Colors with Respackopts

Accessing Custom Color Options

If you have the respackopts mod installed alongside this resource pack, you unlock additional color customization settings that change how your shield cooldown appears.

Available Color Modes

Solid Red Mode: Disables the color fade effect entirely. Your shield stays solid red throughout the entire cooldown instead of gradually returning to normal. This creates a clear on/off visual state—red means blocked, normal means ready.

Green Ready Indicator: Adds a green tint to your shield whenever it's fully recovered and able to block damage again. This makes it immediately obvious when your defense is active.

Yellow Delay Warning: Shows a yellow color during the brief transition period before your shield can actively block attacks. This helps you distinguish between "still cooling down" and "almost ready."

Choosing Your Setup

Experiment with these options to find what works best for your playstyle. Some players prefer the solid red for clarity, while others like the green indicator for quick readiness checks during hectic battles.
