Understand Health Bar Color Warnings

Reading Your Health Status

The SAO-style health bar uses color to communicate danger at a glance. When your health is above 50%, the bar displays green, indicating you're in safe condition. As you take damage and drop below half health, the bar shifts to orange, warning you to heal or retreat. This intermediate state gives you time to react before critical danger.

Recognizing Critical Health

When your health bar turns red, you're in immediate danger of death. At this point, prioritize healing with food or potions. The red color is your final warning—one or two more hits may be fatal depending on the damage source.

Enabling Numeric Health Display

For precise health tracking, enable showHpText in your configuration. This displays your exact health value (e.g., "8/20") next to the colored bar, removing guesswork about how many hits you can survive. This is especially useful during boss fights or PvP encounters where every point of health matters.
