Adjust Glow Intensity for Your Build Style
Finding the Right Balance
Vintage Nostalgia Glow applies a soft, warm glow by default, but you may want to tune it for your specific builds. The shader's glow effect works best when matched to your lighting setup.
Steps to Customize
1. Load into a world with your build and observe the glow in different lighting conditions—daytime, sunset, and night.
2. Open your shader settings menu (usually accessed via a key binding in your mod loader's config).
3. Look for glow or brightness-related sliders. Reduce the value if the warm tone feels too strong on bright blocks like sand or concrete, or increase it if you want more atmospheric warmth in shadowed areas.
4. Test changes in both outdoor and indoor spaces—the glow behaves differently depending on ambient light.
5. Save your settings and reload the world to see the full effect across all chunks.
Tips
If you're building with dark blocks (obsidian, deepslate), a stronger glow can add cozy ambiance. For bright, colorful builds, a lower glow setting keeps details crisp while maintaining the vintage feel.
