Maximize Water Reflections and Wave Effects
Enable Water Reflection Features
Vice Wave's water rendering is one of its signature features. In shader options, locate water-related settings and ensure reflection rendering is enabled. This creates the smooth, mirror-like surfaces that reflect sky colors and terrain.
Position Yourself for Best Results
Water reflections look most striking when:
- You're near large bodies of water (oceans, lakes, or custom pools)
- The sun is low on the horizon (sunrise/sunset), casting long light rays
- You're viewing water at a shallow angle rather than straight down
Adjust Wave and Ripple Settings
If available, wave intensity and ripple frequency sliders control how animated the water surface appears. Higher values create more dynamic movement; lower values give calmer, glassier water.
Combine with Terrain
Build near water to see reflections of colored blocks and structures. The tropical lighting will make sand, terracotta, and colored concrete pop against the water's neon-tinted reflections, creating the full Vice City atmosphere.
