Capture Screenshots That Showcase the Shader's Aesthetic
Choose Optimal Lighting Conditions
Vice Wave shines during specific times of day. Sunset and sunrise produce the most dramatic results—deep pinks, purples, and oranges flood the sky and reflect off water and wet blocks. Midday offers bright, clean tropical lighting; midnight brings rich neon tones.
Scout Scenic Locations
Find or build areas that complement the shader:
- Coastal builds: Sand, palm trees, and water amplify the tropical vibe
- Urban structures: Concrete, glass, and metal reflect neon colors beautifully
- Elevated viewpoints: Mountains or towers let you capture expansive sky gradients
- Water features: Pools, waterfalls, and oceans showcase reflections
Frame Your Shot
Position your camera to include both sky and terrain or water. Avoid pointing directly at the sun. Use F1 to hide the UI, and consider disabling clouds temporarily if they obscure the sky colors.
Adjust Render Distance
Higher render distance shows more of the colored atmosphere and distant terrain, creating depth. Balance this with your system's performance.
