Troubleshoot Fluid Flow in a Colored Pipe Network
Trace the Colored Line
Follow your chosen color from source to destination. Because each fluid type has its own color, you can instantly see which network you're inspecting without confusion.
Check Glass Pipe Sections
Place or look through colored glass pipes at key points to observe fluid movement. If fluid isn't flowing, the blockage is between your last glass pipe and the next component.
Verify Pump Direction
Confirm that colored pumps are oriented correctly and powered. A pump pointing the wrong way will push fluid backward. Check that the pump's input and output match your intended flow direction.
Inspect Smart Pipes
If using colored smart pipes, verify their filter settings. A smart pipe set to block a fluid will stop flow even if the network is otherwise intact. Adjust filters to allow your target fluid through.
Look for Leaks or Disconnects
Walk the entire colored line and check for gaps between pipes or missing connections to tanks and machines. Colored pipes must touch to connect—gaps break the network.
Test with a Valve
Place a colored valve mid-line and toggle it to confirm fluid is reaching that point. This isolates whether the problem is upstream or downstream.
