Configure Vibrant Cinematic Voxel for Your PC's Performance
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu by pressing the designated key (usually Right Shift + R in most shader packs, or check your controls). Look for the Vibrant Cinematic Voxel profile in your shader list.
Adjust Key Performance Parameters
Shadow Quality: Reduce shadow map resolution if you experience frame drops. Lower values decrease the detail of shadows cast by trees and structures, but improve performance significantly.
Render Distance Scaling: Since this shader pairs with Voxy for distant terrain, ensure your chunk render distance matches your system's capability. Start at 12–16 chunks and increase gradually.
Water Effects: Toggle wave intensity and refraction detail. Disabling advanced water reflections frees up GPU resources without removing water entirely.
Ambient Occlusion: This darkens crevices and block corners. Lowering its strength reduces computation cost while maintaining the cinematic look.
Save and Test
Apply changes and load a world. Observe frame rates in different environments—caves, open sky, and dense forests. Adjust settings incrementally until you find your performance sweet spot. The shader's warm lighting remains effective even at lower quality presets.
