Customize Color Grading for Different Biomes
Access Color and Tone Settings
Vibrant Cinematic Rays applies fantasy-inspired color grading across all biomes. To customize this, open shader options and find color correction, tone mapping, or saturation controls.
Adjust Color Profile
Common adjustments include:
- Saturation: Increase for more vivid, fantasy-like colors; decrease for natural tones
- Color temperature: Warm tones enhance sunset/desert biomes; cool tones suit snowy/ocean areas
- Contrast: Higher contrast makes lighting more dramatic
- Hue shift: Some shaders allow biome-specific color adjustments
Test Across Environments
Visit different biomes to see how grading affects each:
- Forests: Rich greens and shadow depth are emphasized
- Deserts: Warm, golden tones dominate
- Mountains: Cool, crisp lighting highlights terrain detail
- Oceans: Blue saturation and reflection quality shine
The shader maintains vanilla familiarity while adding richness, so avoid extreme adjustments. Small tweaks to saturation and temperature create the biggest visual difference. Return to the same location after changes to compare directly, as biome lighting varies naturally.
