Access weather effect settings

Open the Iris shader menu and locate weather or precipitation options. Vibrant Cinematic Horizon provides separate controls for rain and storm intensity, allowing you to adjust how prominently weather effects appear.

Configure rain appearance

You can typically modify:

• Rain particle density — more particles create heavier downpours
• Lighting during rain — control how much the shader darkens the sky
• Puddle or water surface effects — some settings enhance how rain interacts with ground-level water

Enhance storm mood

Storms in this shader include custom lighting effects. Increase storm intensity settings to make lightning brighter and more frequent, or reduce them for subtler weather. The shader's volumetric clouds become more dramatic during storms, creating a cinematic atmosphere.

Test in real weather

Stand in open areas and under cover to see how the shader renders weather differently. Adjust settings based on whether you prefer immersive, heavy storms or lighter, more subtle rain effects.
