Enable or Disable Foliage Waving

Open Shader Configuration

Press the shader menu key (default: O) while playing to access shader options. The menu appears as an overlay without stopping gameplay.

Locate Foliage Settings

Scroll through the configuration menu to find options related to "plant waving," "foliage movement," or "leaf animation." These controls toggle and adjust how trees, grass, and crops move.

Toggle Waving On or Off

Use the checkbox or toggle button next to foliage waving to enable or disable the effect entirely. Disabling it can provide a slight performance boost on very low-end systems.

Adjust Wave Intensity

If waving is enabled, you'll find sliders to control:

  • Wave strength: How dramatically leaves and grass sway
  • Wave speed: How quickly the motion occurs

Reduce these values if the movement feels distracting, or increase them for more noticeable plant animation.

Apply Changes

Close the menu to see your adjustments take effect immediately in your world.
