Customize Day and Night Lighting
Access Lighting Controls
Open the shader configuration menu by pressing O in-game. Navigate to sections labeled "ambient lighting," "color correction," or "atmosphere."
Adjust Daytime Brightness
Look for sliders controlling daytime ambient light. Increase brightness to make daylit areas feel more vibrant, or decrease it for moodier, more shadowed environments. This affects how brightly lit your surroundings appear even in direct sunlight.
Modify Nighttime Atmosphere
Find nighttime-specific sliders to control how dark nights become and how much ambient light persists. You can make nights darker and more atmospheric, or brighter for easier navigation.
Fine-Tune Color Temperature
Some versions include color sliders for warm or cool tones. Warmer settings give sunlight an orange tint; cooler settings create a bluer, more neutral appearance.
Test at Different Times

Balance Aesthetics and Visibility
Remember that extreme darkness can make gameplay difficult. Aim for atmospheric lighting that still allows you to see blocks and mobs clearly.
