Locate Brown Mushrooms

Brown mushrooms naturally spawn in dark oak forests and other dim forest biomes. Search the forest floor at night or in shaded areas. Gather several brown mushroom blocks by breaking them with any tool or your hand.

Place and Compare Variants

Return to a safe, well-lit location like your base or a dedicated display area. Place the brown mushrooms you collected on dirt or grass blocks in a row or grid pattern.

Because this mod includes random shape variants for brown mushroom caps, each placed mushroom will display a different 3D model. Some caps may appear more rounded, others flatter or asymmetrical. This randomization creates visual variety across a mushroom farm or forest floor without requiring different block types.

Create a Mushroom Showcase

Place many brown mushrooms together to highlight the diversity of cap shapes. The random models ensure no two adjacent mushrooms look identical, making even a simple mushroom farm feel naturally varied and organic compared to vanilla's uniform appearance.
