Assembling Your Train Consist

To create a full working train, you'll need to combine multiple car types in the correct order. Start with a power car (front engine) as your lead locomotive. These come in forward-facing variants and include roof pantographs for power collection.

Behind the power car, place an end car—these are specially designed first or second-class wagons with roof cones that connect properly to the engine. End cars must go immediately after power cars to ensure correct coupling geometry.

Adding Passenger and Service Cars

After your end car, add standard passenger cars in your desired configuration. Mix first-class and second-class cars based on your network's needs. Insert bar cars in the middle sections where you want onboard cafe service.

Place bogies (wheel assemblies) between each wagon along the track to complete the mechanical connection. Finally, attach a rear power car or end car at the train's back to finish the consist.

Test your train on a short track section before building your full network to ensure all cars couple and move smoothly together.
