How to Craft a Painted Crafting Table in Any Color

Painted Crafting Tables come in sixteen colors: Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow. Each is a separate block, so decide on the exact color before you start gathering materials.

Crafting Steps

1. Place a vanilla Crafting Table in your inventory grid or on the ground to open its interface.

2. Combine the dye of your chosen color with the base materials required by the shaped recipe for that Painted Crafting Table.

3. The result is the matching Painted Crafting Table block — for example, Red Painted Crafting Table from red dye, or Lime Painted Crafting Table from lime dye.

Using Painted Tables

Painted Crafting Tables function exactly like a normal Crafting Table for all vanilla recipes. Their value is decorative: line several colors along a wall, stack them in a workshop, or color-code stations by function. Because each color is its own block, you can place a row of Black, Gray, and White Painted Crafting Tables side by side without any of them merging visually. If you later want a different color, craft a new table rather than trying to recolor an existing one — the recipes are shaped and produce a fixed color per craft.
