How to Craft the Familiar Wig

Gather the Materials

The Familiar Wig is one of four vanity items in the mod, and it is made with a shaped crafting recipe at a standard crafting table. You will need to arrange your ingredients in a specific pattern on the crafting grid rather than tossing them in randomly.

Before you start, decide which slot you want the wig to occupy. Vanity slots are separate from your armor slots, so the Familiar Wig will not replace a helmet you are already wearing for protection. This means you can keep your functional armor on while still changing your appearance.

Crafting and Equipping

Open your crafting table and place the required ingredients in the shaped pattern. Because the recipe is shaped, the relative positions of the items matter — shifting the whole pattern around the grid is fine, but mirroring or scrambling it will not produce the Familiar Wig.

Once crafted, the Familiar Wig appears in your inventory as a wearable item. Open your inventory screen and look for the vanity slot area. Drag the Familiar Wig into the appropriate vanity slot. It will render on your character without affecting your armor values or any combat stats.

If you want a matching set, craft the Familiar Shirt, Familiar Pants, and Familiar Sneakers the same way and equip each one in its own vanity slot. Each piece is independent, so you can wear just the wig or the full outfit.
