Set Up a Hide and Seek Game with Friends
Prepare Your Game
Before starting, gather all players and decide on a round length. Longer rounds work better for larger arenas, while shorter rounds suit smaller groups. Agree on boundaries so seekers and hiders know the playable area.
Assign Roles and Start
1. Choose one player to be the seeker first.
2. Give all other players a countdown timer (typically 30–60 seconds) to scatter and find hiding spots.
3. The seeker counts down aloud, then begins searching.
4. Hiders must stay hidden and silent until the round ends or they are found.
5. If a hider is spotted, they're either out or join the seeker—decide this rule before playing.
Win Conditions
Hiders win if they remain undiscovered until time runs out. The seeker wins by finding everyone. After each round, rotate who becomes the seeker so everyone gets a turn hunting and hiding. This keeps the game fresh and fair across multiple matches.
