Making Jams, Jellies, and Preserves

Fruit Jams

Jams start from a fruit plus sweetener. Carrot Jam and Carrot Jam Mush use carrots. Apple Jelly and Apple Jelly Mush use apples. Chorusfruit Jelly and Chorusfruit Jelly Mush use chorus fruit. The "Mush" versions are the mashed or cooked-down form — process the base jam through a shapeless recipe to get the mush variant. Crafty Preserves Sunbutter Sandwich uses preserves as a filling.

Using Jams in Sandwiches

Once you have a jam or jelly, spread it. Cheese Jellyjam Sandwich layers cheese and jelly between bread. Chocolate Sunbutter Sandwich and Crafty Preserves Sunbutter Sandwich are the other spread sandwiches. All of these use the mod's shaped sandwich recipes and pair well with Buttered Bread as the base.

Sweet Dough and Cookies

Jams also feed into baked sweets. Cooked Sweet Dough is the base for Cookie Apple, Cookie Berries, Cookie Cocoa, Cookie Klingon, Cookie Molasses, and Cookie Sugar. Apple Pie and Cake Slice are larger bakes that use fruit and sweet dough. Keep Hardened Sugar Pantry Block and Baking Soda Pantry Block stocked — nearly every jam, jelly, and cookie recipe in this mod draws on one or both.
