Brewing Tonics and Potion-Soaked Recipes

Tonic Basics

The mod has a tonic family built on the basic_tonic_shaped, concentrated_tonic_shaped, mixed_tonic_shaped, and relabel_tonic_shapeless recipe types. Start with Bottle Water or Bottle Fizzy Water as the liquid base. Bottle Tulip Tonic and Bottle Rose Water are the flower-based tonics. Bottle Birch Sap and Bottle Berry Water are the tree- and berry-based variants. Bottle Syrup Base is the sweetened intermediate.

Potion-Soaked Crafting

The potion_soaked_shaped and potion_soaked_shapeless recipe types let you craft items while soaking them in a potion or tonic. This is how you infuse gear or food with a tonic effect. Use a finished tonic bottle as the soaking ingredient alongside the item you want to treat. The keep_bottles variants return the bottle after the recipe, so you do not lose glass.

Concentrating and Relabeling

To upgrade a tonic, use the concentrated tonic recipe to combine multiple basic tonics into a stronger one. The relabel recipe lets you change a tonic's label without losing the contents. Bottle Dirty Water and Bottle Swamp Water should be cleaned first via the drywater_shapeless recipe before they go into any tonic. Bowl Honey and Bowl Honeymilk are separate bowl-based drinks, not tonics, but they use the same bottle-and-bowl infrastructure.
