Design Nether Builds with Improved Fences and Glowstone

Nether-Specific Visual Improvements

Nether brick fences now resemble gothic wrought iron with detailed metalwork, and glowstone emits a warmer light pattern that fits Nether aesthetics better than the default. These changes make Nether structures feel more cohesive and atmospheric.

Building in the Nether

1. Use nether brick fences for railings and barriers. The wrought iron appearance works well for Nether fortresses, bastion remnants, and custom structures. They look particularly good framing doorways or creating decorative patterns.

2. Place glowstone for ambient lighting instead of relying on torches or lanterns. The warmer light output fits Nether builds naturally and creates a more authentic glow compared to default glowstone.

3. Combine nether brick fences with red nether bricks, which now display natural color shifts between blocks. This creates texture and prevents the flat, repetitive look of large Nether structures.

4. Build enclosed spaces with fences and gates. Nether brick fence gates now swing open on a single hinge, matching their corresponding wood door styles for visual consistency.

These improvements work across all Nether biomes and structures.
