Create Realistic Stone Builds with Natural Variants

Understanding the New Stone Textures

Andesite, diorite, and granite now display textures closer to real stone, with visible color variation and texture detail. Each block type has both a standard and polished variant. The polished versions resemble marble with smoother, more refined surfaces.

Building with Realistic Stone

1. Mix standard and polished variants of the same stone type to create depth. Use polished stone for clean surfaces like floors or walls, and standard stone for rougher, more natural-looking foundations.

2. Combine different stone types in the same build. Andesite, diorite, and granite work well together because they now have more realistic color relationships—they won't look flat or monotonous when placed adjacent to each other.

3. Use stone for detail work like trim, pillars, or decorative patterns. The improved textures make small architectural details more visible and interesting.

4. Pair with mud bricks and regular bricks, which now show natural color shifts between individual blocks, creating organic-looking masonry structures.

These changes are purely visual—no new blocks are added, and all existing builds will automatically update their appearance.
