Warm Up or Cool Down Your World's Color Temperature
Open Shader Configuration
Access the Iris shader settings menu in-game. Navigate to the Vanilla Camera Focus CT Shaders panel.
Find Color Temperature Controls
Look for the color temperature or white balance adjustment section. This setting shifts the overall hue of your world without changing individual block colors.
Adjust Temperature Values
- Warmer tones: Move the slider toward warm/orange to make your world feel sunset-like or cozy. This works well for building scenes, villages, or interior spaces.
- Cooler tones: Shift toward cool/blue for a crisp, overcast, or nighttime atmosphere. This enhances underwater scenes and snowy biomes.
Preview Different Times of Day
Test your temperature setting at different times—sunrise, noon, and sunset—since Minecraft's natural lighting already shifts colors. The shader's temperature adjustment should complement these cycles rather than fight against them. Make small adjustments until the world feels cohesive and matches your intended mood.
