Leveling Up as a Vampire or Hunter

Earning Progress

Both factions level up by doing faction activities, not by crafting alone. As a vampire, feed on mobs and players and use your abilities. As a hunter, kill vampires and use hunter tools. Each action contributes to your faction level, which unlocks stronger recipes and abilities.

Vampire Progression

Higher vampire levels unlock better blood handling and stronger abilities. Build a Blood Grinder to farm blood from captured mobs, store it in a Blood Container, and manage it from a Blood Pedestal. Upgrade your gear with Blood-Infused Iron Ingot and Enhanced Blood-Infused Iron Ingot, then craft the Blood-Infused Iron Block and Enhanced Blood-Infused Iron Block for advanced recipes.

Hunter Progression

Hunter levels unlock the Enhanced and Ultimate tiers of the Armor Of Swiftness set and the stronger crossbows. Craft the Basic Crossbow first, then move up to Double Crossbow, Enhanced Crossbow, Enhanced Double Crossbow, and finally Enhanced Semi-Auto Crossbow. Keep an Arrow clip ready so you never run dry mid-fight.

Using the Altars

Place an Altar of Inspiration and an Altar of Infusion with Altar Pillar and Altar Tip blocks to perform ritual crafting. The Altar Cleansing removes unwanted effects. These altars are central to advancing past the early tiers of either faction.
