How to Become a Vampire Hunter

Taking the Hunter Path

To become a vampire hunter, you must not be a vampire. If you are infected or transformed, cure yourself first using an Altar of Cleansing or Altar Cleansing. Once human, you can pursue the hunter progression. Hunters gain bonuses against vampires and unlock hunter-specific gear and crafting.

Hunter Crafting Stations

Set up the hunter crafting chain. Place an Alchemy Table and an Alchemical Cauldron, and use Alchemical Fire where required. These stations process the ingredients for hunter tools and weapons. The Altar of Cleansing removes vampire infection and supports cleansing-related recipes. Build the altar structure with Altar Pillar and Altar Tip.

Hunter Weapons and Tools

Craft a Basic Crossbow and keep an Arrow clip for reloading. A Battle Axe serves as a melee option. Use Blessed Salt and Concentrated Garlic against vampires. A Cross, Amulet, and Crown are hunter-related items. Blood Eye helps track vampires. Blood-Infused Iron Ingot and Blood-Infused Iron Block are crafting materials obtained through the mod's processing. Use the Alchemy Table and Alchemical Cauldron recipes to convert gathered materials into hunter gear, and rely on the Altar of Inspiration for advanced hunter crafting.
