How to Become a Hunter

Starting the Hunter Path

Hunters are the opposing faction to vampires. You begin the path by crafting and using a Garlic Injection, which sets you on the hunter progression. Once injected, you gain access to hunter-only crafting through the Weapon Table and the Alchemy Table.

Building the Workstations

Place a Weapon Table to unlock the weapon recipes: Basic Crossbow, Double Crossbow, Enhanced Crossbow, Enhanced Double Crossbow, Enhanced Semi-Auto Crossbow, and the Arrow clip. Place an Alchemy Table for hunter potions and mixtures. Both stations are required for most of the hunter gear you will want.

Hunter Gear and Tools

Wear the Armor Of Swiftness set — Head, Chest, Legs, and Feet — in Normal, Enhanced, or Ultimate tiers as you progress. Craft a Garlic Diffuser Normal and upgrade it to Garlic Diffuser Improved to push vampires away from your base. A Garlic Finder helps you track vampires, and a Golden Crucifix is a strong defensive item against them.

Defending Your Base

Surround your base with Cursed Planks, Cursed Fence, and Cursed Door to keep vampires out. Place a Cross and Candle Stick for light and atmosphere. Use an Altar Cleansing to remove vampire effects from yourself or your territory.
