Matching Umbrella Colors to Dyes

The Sixteen Colors

Every umbrella tier is available in the same sixteen colors. The full color list is:

Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime Green, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, White, Yellow.

Each color exists at all four tiers, giving 64 colored umbrellas plus the 4 rods for 68 registry entries — the mod registers 67 total, with the rods counted among them.

Pick the Dye, Get the Umbrella

To make a colored umbrella, take a rod of your chosen tier and combine it with the dye for your chosen color in a shaped crafting recipe. The dye determines the color; the rod determines the tier.

Examples across tiers:

• Cyan Iron Umbrella — Iron Umbrella Rod + cyan dye
• Magenta Gold Umbrella — Gold Umbrella Rod + magenta dye
• Light Gray Diamond Umbrella — Diamond Umbrella Rod + light gray dye
• Orange Netherite Umbrella — Netherite Umbrella Rod + orange dye

Color Is Locked at Craft

Once an umbrella is crafted, its color cannot be changed by re-dyeing. The only way to change color is to craft a new umbrella from a fresh rod and the correct dye. If you are building a matched set — for example all sixteen colors at Iron tier — craft sixteen Iron Umbrella Rods first, then dye each one separately.
