Using Metal Framed Glass, Vines, and Plants in Builds

Metal Framed Glass

Metal Framed Glass is a framed window block available in Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, and more colors. Each color also has a matching Metal Framed Glass Pane for thinner windows. Use the full block for large panels and the pane for narrow slots, greenhouse walls, or lantern housings. Because the frame color matches the Glazed Jar and Sleeping Bag colors, you can run one color through an entire room: Blue Metal Framed Glass Pane windows, Blue Glazed Jars on shelves, Blue Sleeping Bag on the floor.

Greenery

Hanging Vines drape downward and are the easiest way to soften a stone or post-built wall. Giant Fern is a large plant block for filling corners and planters. Hibiscus adds a flowering accent. Place Hanging Vines under Cut Posts or along the underside of Bundled Posts to suggest an overgrown ruin, and set Giant Fern at the base of posts where soil would collect.

Ruins and Overgrowth

For an abandoned look, combine Cracked Glazed Jar and Cracked Big Glazed Jar with Bone Pile, Bone Pile Block, and Doused Torch. Add Hanging Vines across doorways and Giant Fern in gaps between Cut Posts. The Dungeon Door block anchors these scenes as a heavy entry point. Keep Metal Framed Glass Pane intact in one or two spots so the ruin still reads as a former building rather than rubble.
