How to Craft and Place Posts and Bundled Posts

Making Posts

Posts are the basic building column of Valhelsia Structures. Start with a plain Post for any wood type you have: Oak Post, Spruce Post, Birch Post, Jungle Post, Acacia Post, Dark Oak Post, Mangrove Post, Crimson Post, or Warped Post. Each is made through the mod's tool_crafting recipe type, so you need the matching log or planks plus a tool in the crafting grid rather than a plain shaped recipe.

Once you have a Post, you can convert it into a Cut variant. Cut Oak Post, Cut Spruce Post, Cut Birch Post, Cut Jungle Post, Cut Acacia Post, Cut Dark Oak Post, Cut Mangrove Post, Cut Crimson Post, and Cut Warped Post are all produced from their plain counterparts. Use Cut posts where you want a trimmed, squared-off look on corners and beam ends.

Bundling for Storage and Bulk Building

If you are carrying many posts, compress them into Bundled Oak Posts, Bundled Spruce Posts, Bundled Birch Posts, Bundled Jungle Posts, Bundled Acacia Posts, Bundled Dark Oak Posts, Bundled Mangrove Posts, Bundled Crimson Posts, or Bundled Warped Posts. The stripped wood line works the same way: Bundled Stripped Oak Posts, Bundled Stripped Spruce Posts, Bundled Stripped Birch Posts, Bundled Stripped Jungle Posts, Bundled Stripped Acacia Posts, Bundled Stripped Dark Oak Posts, Bundled Stripped Mangrove Posts, Bundled Stripped Crimson Posts, and Bundled Stripped Warped Posts. Cut stripped versions exist too, such as Cut Stripped Oak Post and Cut Stripped Spruce Post.

Place posts vertically as pillars or lay them horizontally as beams. Mix plain, cut, and stripped variants in the same build to break up flat surfaces.
