How to Build Ruins with Bone Piles and Cracked Jars

Bone Pile and Bone Pile Block

Bone Pile and Bone Pile Block are the two bone decoration blocks. Place Bone Pile as scattered remains on floors, and use Bone Pile Block where you want a fuller, stacked mass. Combine them in the same area so the pile reads as uneven debris rather than a single repeated block.

Cracked and Coloured Jars

Cracked Glazed Jar is the weathered jar variant. Scatter Cracked Glazed Jar among intact Glazed Jar and coloured jars such as Black Glazed Jar, Brown Glazed Jar, Gray Glazed Jar, and Green Glazed Jar. A mix of cracked and clean jars on a floor or shelf suggests a site that was used and then abandoned.

Framing the Ruin

Use posts to define the surviving structure. Cut Oak Post, Cut Spruce Post, Cut Dark Oak Post, and Cut Stripped Oak Post make good broken beam ends. Bundled Oak Posts and Bundled Stripped Oak Posts work as collapsed stacks of timber. For walls, use Paper Wall as a torn partition, and Metal Framed Glass Pane or a coloured pane like Gray Metal Framed Glass Pane as a surviving window.

Lighting the Site

Place a Brazier at the centre of the ruin for light. Add an Explorer's Tent and a Sleeping Bag nearby if you want the ruin to double as a camp. Keep Bone Pile, Bone Pile Block, Cracked Glazed Jar, and the coloured jars clustered in one or two spots instead of spreading them evenly.
