How to Craft the Alloy Sword in Useless Swords Mod

Gather the Base Materials

The Alloy Sword is built from two intermediate items: Alloy Ingot and the combined Gold Ingot And Iron Ingot item. You need to produce both before you can assemble the sword.

Start by smelting to obtain your Alloy Ingot. The smelting recipe in this mod converts your input into an Alloy Ingot, so load a furnace with the required material and fuel, then collect the finished ingot from the output slot.

For the Gold Ingot And Iron Ingot item, use the crafting grid to combine gold and iron into that single registry item. Keep at least one of each on hand before you begin.

Assemble the Sword

With one Alloy Ingot and one Gold Ingot And Iron Ingot in your inventory, open a crafting table. The Alloy Sword is produced through a shaped recipe, so place the Alloy Ingot and the Gold Ingot And Iron Ingot in the pattern the recipe expects — typically the ingot above and the combined metal item below, matching a standard sword layout.

Once crafted, the Alloy Sword sits in your hotbar as a standard melee weapon. If you plan to craft multiple, batch your Alloy Ingot smelting first so you are not waiting on the furnace between each sword. The same Alloy Ingot feeds other alloy-based recipes, so overproducing it saves trips.
