How to Build Junctions and Instant Travel with Intersection and Teleport Rails

Creating a Junction

Place an Intersection Rail where two rail lines meet or cross. This block lets carts pass through the junction and continue onto the correct branch. Use it any time a straight line needs to split or connect to another route. Combine it with Direction Rail if you need to control which way carts leave the junction.

Setting Up Teleport Travel

Place a Teleport Rail at each end of a route you want to link instantly. Carts entering one Teleport Rail arrive at the other, skipping the track in between. This is useful for long-distance connections where building a full rail line is impractical. Pair each Teleport Rail with a Buffer Stop if you want carts to stop on arrival rather than continue rolling.

Combining with Speed Control

On the approach to a Teleport Rail, place Speed Clamp Rail (0.25 Blocks/Tick) so carts enter at a controlled speed. On the exit side, place High Speed Rail (5 Blocks/Tick) if you want carts to accelerate away quickly. Direction Rail at the exit helps route carts onto the intended path.

Testing the Link

Send a cart through one Teleport Rail and confirm it arrives at the other. If it does not, check that both ends are placed and that the path between them is clear.
