How to Craft a Halo in Useful Hats

Crafting the Halo

The Halo is one of the 13 registry items in Useful Hats and is made through a crafting_shaped recipe. Place the required ingredients in the crafting grid in the pattern shown by the recipe. Once assembled, the Halo appears in your inventory as a wearable hat.

Wearing and Using It

Equip the Halo by placing it in your helmet slot, or right-click while holding it if your setup uses a dedicated hat slot. The Halo sits above your head as a cosmetic ring. Because it occupies the helmet slot, plan around it if you also need armor protection — swap the Halo out before combat or mining where a real helmet matters.

If you want a different color or finish, the Halo also supports a crafting_dye recipe. Combine the Halo with a dye in the crafting grid to recolor it without losing the item. This lets you match the Halo to your skin or to other Useful Hats pieces like the Stocking Cap or Straw Hat.

Keep a spare Halo in a chest near your base so you can swap it in for screenshots, events, or roleplay without hunting for ingredients again. The recipe is repeatable, so craft as many as you want.
