Crafting the Ender Chest Backpack

The Ender Chest Backpack is the storage item that ties your backpack progression to ender-style access. It is produced through the usefulbackpacks:crafting_backpack recipe type, the same process used for the Small Backpack, Medium Backpack and Large Backpack. Build up through the backpack tiers first, then use the required materials to craft the Ender Chest Backpack.

Using It Alongside Your Other Backpacks

The Ender Chest Backpack is one of the seven registry entries in the mod, alongside the three size tiers, the two Auto Pickup Filters, and the Backpack Filter Configurator. Treat it as the specialised option: the size backpacks give you raw capacity, while the Ender Chest Backpack gives you the ender-linked storage behaviour.

Pair it with the filter system for the best results. Apply an Auto Pickup Filter (Item) or Auto Pickup Filter (Tag) to control what gets pulled in, and use the Backpack Filter Configurator to adjust that filter later. That combination lets you decide both what the backpack stores and how it stores it.

If you are still on a Small Backpack, finish the tier chain to Large Backpack first, then craft the Ender Chest Backpack once you have the materials ready.
