Making Blue Jelly Torches for Underwater Light

Getting the Jelly

Blue Jelly Torch is the mod's light source built around jellyfish. You need a Bucket of Jellyfish to move a jellyfish where you want it, and the jelly itself is what feeds the torch recipe. Catch a jellyfish in a bucket first, then decide whether to keep it as a live display or process it into torches.

Placing Light Underwater

Craft Blue Jelly Torches and place them along the floor of your underwater base, along coral gardens, or inside a prismarine corridor. They give you light without needing glowstone or sea lanterns, and they fit the coral palette of Coralstone, Coralstone Slab, Coralstone Stairs, and Coralstone Wall builds. Pair them with Chiseled Prismarine Coralstone, Chiseled Elder Prismarine Coralstone, and Chiseled Coralstone for a lit interior that matches the mod's stone set. If you are lighting a tank, put Blue Jelly Torches around the rim and keep a Bucket of Glow Squid or Bucket of Squid nearby for the creatures inside. For land builds, the same torches work as accent lighting near Beachgrass and Beachgrass Thatch, Beachgrass Thatch Slab, and Beachgrass Thatch Stairs. Stock up on jellyfish buckets before a big build so you are not running back to the ocean mid-construction.
