How to Build with Coralstone and Its Variants

Turning Coral into Coralstone

Coralstone is the main building block of the mod, and every coral color has its own matching set. Each coral type — Acan Coral, Branch Coral, Chrome Coral, Finger Coral, Moss Coral, and the rest — has a Coral Block form. Use a Coral Block to obtain the matching Coralstone, then process it further.

From a single Coralstone you can craft:

• Coralstone Slab
• Coralstone Stairs
• Coralstone Wall
• Chiseled Coralstone

Every colored variant follows the same pattern: Acan Coralstone gives Acan Coralstone Slab, Acan Coralstone Stairs, Acan Coralstone Wall, and Chiseled Acan Coralstone. The same applies to Brain, Branch, Bubble, Chrome, Elder Prismarine, Finger, Fire, Horn, Moss, Petal, Pillow, Prismarine, Rock, Silk, Star, and Tube Coralstone.

Stonecutting for Exact Shapes

Use a stonecutter on any Coralstone block to get slabs, stairs, walls, and chiseled versions without wasting material. This is the fastest way to produce large quantities of a single shape. Dead Coralstone, Dead Coralstone Slab, Dead Coralstone Stairs, and Dead Coralstone Wall exist as separate blocks, so keep dead coral material separate from living coralstone if you want to preserve color.

Decorative Extras

Chiseled Tooth Bricks and Chiseled Turtle Scute Shingles give you two non-coral building options. Chiseled Driftwood Bookshelf and Chiseled River Bookshelf are decorative bookshelf blocks for interior builds. Combine slabs, stairs, and walls from several coral colors to break up large walls.
