How to Build a Coralstone Base from Coral Blocks

Turning Coral Into Coralstone

Coralstone is the main building stone in this mod, and every coral color has its own matching Coralstone, Slab, Stairs, and Wall variants. You start with the living coral itself: Acan Coral, Branch Coral, Chrome Coral, Finger Coral, Moss Coral, Petal Coral, Pillow Coral, and Rock Coral, plus their Coral Block forms. Dead versions of each coral also exist (Dead Acan Coral, Dead Branch Coral, and so on), and these feed into Dead Coralstone and its Slab, Stairs, and Wall variants.

Cutting and Chiseling

Once you have Coralstone, take it to a Stonecutter. The stonecutting recipe type covers 105 recipes in this mod, so a single Coralstone block can be cut into Slabs, Stairs, and Walls of the same color without a crafting table. For decorative faces, craft the Chiseled variant of that color: Chiseled Acan Coralstone, Chiseled Brain Coralstone, Chiseled Branch Coralstone, Chiseled Bubble Coralstone, Chiseled Chrome Coralstone, Chiseled Finger Coralstone, Chiseled Fire Coralstone, Chiseled Horn Coralstone, Chiseled Moss Coralstone, Chiseled Petal Coralstone, Chiseled Pillow Coralstone, Chiseled Rock Coralstone, Chiseled Silk Coralstone, Chiseled Star Coralstone, and Chiseled Tube Coralstone. There is also a plain Chiseled Coralstone and a Chiseled Dead Coralstone for neutral builds. Mix Chiseled faces with plain Coralstone, Slab, Stairs, and Wall pieces to break up large walls. Because each color has a full family, you can build an entire base in one coral palette or alternate colors block by block.
