Gathering Resources Across Different Biomes
Understand Regional Resource Distribution
Different areas of the United States map contain different materials. Forested regions have abundant wood and leaves. Mountain ranges yield stone, gravel, and ore deposits. Coastal areas provide sand and clay. Explore multiple biome types to understand what each region offers before committing to a base location.
Efficient Resource Collection Routes
Once you've established a base, plan regular gathering expeditions to nearby biomes. Bring a crafted pickaxe to mine stone and ore efficiently. Collect wood from trees in forest areas, and gather sand or clay from beaches and riverbeds. Store excess materials in chests at your base for future projects.
As you progress, you'll unlock better tools that let you harvest resources faster and from deeper underground. Return to resource-rich areas periodically to restock supplies for crafting and construction projects.
