Using the Grave Scythe and Grave Soil Together

Obtaining the Grave Scythe

The Grave Scythe is a melee weapon. Produce it through the mod's crafting or smithing recipes using the materials shown in your recipe book, then equip it in your main hand. It is a heavier alternative to the Fang Sword and suits players who want reach and area coverage against groups of undead mobs.

Placing Grave Soil

Grave Soil is a placeable block. Set it down to build terrain that fits the mod's theme — graveyard plots, disturbed ground around a Hollow Spawner, or the floor of a crypt. It can be used as a decorative ground layer beneath Shaded Stone Bricks and their slab, stair, and wall variants.

Combining Them in Play

Build a small arena: a Grave Soil floor, Shaded Stone Brick Walls around the edge, and a Blight O'Lantern for light. Stand in the center with the Grave Scythe and let Revenants, Haunters, and Demons come to you. The scythe's sweep handles clustered enemies better than a single-target blade.

Keep Fractured Plating armor — Deathbringer or Wandering Knight — equipped while you fight, and carry Monster Ashes and Ectoplasm drops back to your base for later recipes.
