Crafting the Fang Sword

The Fang Sword is a shaped crafting recipe. Combine a Rotting Arm with the other ingredients shown in your recipe book to produce it. Rotting Arms are the key material — collect them before you start, since the sword cannot be made without one.

Using It in Combat

Equip the Fang Sword in your main hand. It functions as a melee weapon against the undead-themed mobs added by the mod, including the Revenant, Haunter, Demon, and the Wandering Knight variants. Pair it with Deathbringer or Wandering Knight armor pieces for protection while you fight.

If you want a stronger blade later, work toward the H-F Murasama Blade and the HF Murasama Blade, which are produced through smithing recipes rather than the basic crafting table. Keep your Fang Sword as a stepping stone until you have the materials for those upgrades.

Repair and Progression

Keep spare Rotting Arms on hand if you plan to replace the sword after heavy use. The Fang Sword sits early in the weapon chain, so treat it as a tool for clearing Revenants and Haunters while you gather the resources needed for the Murasama line and the Grave Scythe.
